Jones for Elvin Volume 1

This is the cover from my first record with Elvin. It was a sunny afternoon. We were sitting at a picnic table behind the barn that houses Bear Creek Studios in Woodinville, WA. Doris was nine months pregnant with our son. Gregg Keplinger, who had introduced me to Elvin, was there. Joe Hadlock's little white dog was running around. Matt Janke was serving some food he whipped up in the kitchen. I was in heaven. Kate Kulzer snapped this shot. Later, Nancy Karier designed the cover. I am so happy to call all of these talented people my friends.
