Sentimental Mood

At the end of the first day of recording, Elvin was looking a little tired. I asked if we could do a ballad. "Sure," Elvin said. I called "In a Sentimental Mood."

During the recording, I could see Keiko through the window of an isolation booth behind Elvin.

Later, Keiko told me that John Coltrane played that for her on piano once in the middle of the night.
